Kombucha Cocktail Recipes: Gin & Lavender

1/27/2018

Research recently found that gin & tonic lovers may have psychopathic tendencies. But you know what? If loving gin makes us a little crazy, we're okay with that.

Bartender Larry Suggs
with Crowntown Collective uses our Lavenderade kombucha to craft a bright, gin-infused kombucha cocktail. Don't worry about your psychopathic tendencies...adding Lavenderade into this beverage will help chill you out a bit.

Ingredients:
  • 1.5 oz. Sutler's Gin
  • .75 oz. Mint Syrup (one cup of fresh mint - save a leaf for garnish, one cup of sugar)
  • Half of a Lemon
  • Lenny Boy Lavenderade to Taste

Directions:
  • Create mint syrup by bringing 16 oz. of water to a boil. Add one cup of mint (lightly packed with no stem) to water and reduce heat to meadium-low. Steep mint for 30 minutes. Strain and add one cup of sugar to mint tea. Stir to dissolve sugar.
  • Squeeze in half of a lemon
  • Add gin
  • Top with Lavenderade
  • Stir to mix all ingredients
  • Garnish with mint leaf

As always, be sure to drink responsibly!

Tag us in your kombucha cocktail adventures with #lennyboycocktails, and be sure to follow Bartender Larry (@bartenderlarry) and Crowntown Collective (@crowntowncollective)! Cheers!

I just love trying new cocktails when I travel, although I try to make them at home, it's not easy to replicate the taste, but still, I try following the recipe. By the way, thanks for this recipe. Trying this weekend.
